Under the guidance of Master Driver, Morizo, GR Corolla was engineered at the circuit. Evaluated in dust, mud and snow using motorsport data analysis, it emerged more ferocious with every test.

GR Corolla is fitted with a firebreathing 3-cylinder engine helping to deliver 21kW of more power than the GR Yaris. The addition of a functional 3-piece muffler assists in the reduction of backpressure, helping to deliver 21kW more power and an audible amount of grunt.
Circuit-tuned suspension features MacPherson struts in front and trailing double-wishbones at rear. The GR Corolla’s stance is approximately 60mm wider than your average Corolla Hatch, while chassis rigidity has been increased to enhance both your corner stability and grip.
Put power to the ground with the flick of a button. The rally-derived GR-FOUR all-wheel drive system lets you distribute front and rear output to 60/40 for everyday driving, 50/50 for balanced track precision or 30/70 for rear-wheel driving with a playful amount of oversteer.
Steering provides a linear response and feedback you can feel. Whip the quick-throw shift into gear for a satisfying surge of acceleration across the powerband, or switch to iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) for smoother downshifts.
Dig into corners like a pro. Anti-fade, ventilated disc brakes with ultra-grippy monoblock calipers in ‘GR red’ alumite, paired with 18” alloy wheels. 235mm Yokohama ADVAN performance tyres complete the track-ready drivetrain.

The faithful Corolla gets a fiendish facelift to reflect the track animal lurking within.
Advanced aerodynamics designed to conquer the elements. A wide, flat floor, hood ducts and fender vents improve airflow, reduce drag, enhance stability and drive downforce for maximum grip.
GR Corolla’s racing pedigree is proudly on show. Functional aerodynamics, broad stance and a unique front grille, available in three shades of monochrome or feverish red to stand out in a crowd.

Inside the belly of the beast, you’ll find a high degree of comfort for driver and passengers alike. Relax into hip-hugging, heated front seats with motorsports detailing, and put pedal to the metal with a sporty aluminium brake, accelerator and clutch.

RACING ORIGINS
Corolla has a long and rich history in motorsport in Australia and around the world. GR Corolla joins the GR86, GR Supra and GR Yaris in marking a new breed of performance car that distills the ferocity, focus and precision of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing.
From its inception the Corolla had the makings of a giant killer. Its zippy 1100cc engine driving the rear wheels, light weight and short wheelbase made it a joy to drive.
Mt Panorama may be the spiritual home of the V8, but in 1989 Neal Bates took his Corolla to a Class 3 victory, while outperforming many of the Class 1 and 2 entrants.
At the end of an amazing rally era for Toyota, the twice world champion Carlos Sainz finished second place in the Telstra Rally Australia in Perth driving his Toyota Corolla to secure the World Rally Championship Manufacturers' Title.
